Bell Microsystems named on top performing companies list

Business IT services and solutions provider, Bell Microsystems, is listed in the latest
Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 league table of the fastest growing, privately
held technology companies. Each year, the Tech Track 100 table ranks companies
according to average sales growth over a two year period and, in the 2007 table, Bell
Microsystems is one of only four companies that are making their fourth appearance on
the list. The company has grown sales by 63% a year – from £6.6million in 2004 to
£17.6million in 2006.

"Being just one of a handful of companies that have achieved their fourth appearance on
the list, perfectly illustrates the Bell Microsystems team's ability to deliver sustainable
growth, year after year," comments Alastair Bell, Managing Director, Bell Microsystems.
"We've now been listed in the table for three consecutive years and the consistency that
has brought us this hat trick is largely due to our team's ability to keep identifying the IT
pain points that affect our customers' businesses. Over the years, we've devised
innovative new services that have helped our customers to address the issues that
impact on their day-to-day business operations – including requirements introduced by
new legislation, such as the WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Directive).

"Our reputation for providing one of the UK's most comprehensive ranges of IT Asset
Management Services is winning us more new customers every year. By establishing
such a broad customer base, we're making sure that we're well positioned for further
business success well into the future."

Bell Microsystems is continuing to build on its existing IT Asset Management Services
offerings and has already established the processes and facilities necessary to meet the Environment Agency's stringent criteria for the appointment of an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF). Within weeks, Bell Microsystems expects to be confirmed as an ATF – the only type of organisation approved by the Environment Agency to accept and
process waste in accordance with the WEEE Directive.

In addition to delivering ATF services direct to end-user customers, Bell Microsystems is
also working closely with other IT suppliers in order to help those suppliers to meet the
demand for ATF Services as part of an end-to-end IT Asset Management Services
capability. Bell Microsystems will be taking care of the services that other suppliers are
not able to deliver – including secure data destruction, system redeployment, trade-in
and recycling.
